ABC Kids Photography Tips (Taking Great Photos of Your Child)

Raya nih for sure ramai yg akan pulang beraya membawa bersama camera & video cam. Di sini, saya ingin berkongsi tips bagaimana merakamkan aksi anak-anak anda dan mendapatkan gambar yang hebat.
| Quote: | Children are naturally photogenic. Ive worked in studios and children are so easy to photograph. What I hear from parents is that they dont think that their kids are that easy to photograph. Thats only because they dont know some basic tips.
1. Young children especially infants take beautiful photos while they are asleep. Keep the light natural avoid flash if at all possible. Keep the image tight on the child and crop out distractions. For infants when theyre awake youre better off having another person in image, it gives the child someone to interact with and you can crop the shot to keep the other person out of the image or you can keep the adultand child in the photo.
2. Toddlers look best when they dont know that youre taking their photo. Candid shots are the way to go for this age group. Keep your camera handy and when they start doing something cute snap the photo quick. Remember your child doesnt have to be looking directly into the camera to take a great photo. Dont ever say to the toddler, Oh how cute, now look here. It wont happen.
3. Children ages 4 plus are really good at sitting for photos. But if youre going to dress them up make sure that they are comfortable and dont put them in some outfit they hate, it will show in the image. Crop tight on your subject, keep the light natural, and if youre using a toy to get their attention make sure that it makes them laugh and doesnt scare them. (I learned that lesson the hard way.)
4. Older children are really good at dressing up for photos. The hardest thing will be getting a natural smile from them. Say, cheese is a sure fire way to get a fake smile. Most of us learned young to smile automatically at that cue. Here you have to get silly. One time I was working with a young boy and his older sister. She was a natural smiler and loved being dressed up. He was not happy and kept pulling at his tie. His mother straightened it for the tenth time. I posed them and addressed the young boy I said, Now on the count of three I want you to say, I hate this tie! His sister smiled surprised at what I said, and he grinned. I took the photo. He then screamed, I hate this tie! Again both smiled wide and I took a second photo. The images turned out beautiful.
I hope these tips help you to take better photos of your child. With a little practice and a few tips youll see better family photos immediately.

We had a greattttt time there. Thanks to Norli n co sudi dtg & join us. Food superlicious dengan angin sepoi bahasa. Xtvt menyeronokkan, handled by Teacher Sarah & Teacher Ivy from SRI College (own by Smart Readers). It was fun & enjoyable. The kids x rimas lah panas ker, berfeluh ker.. sebab cuaca cerah tapi berangin di situ.
More xtvt like dis will b organize in d future, drop me your name, contact number, kids name, age n gender in case xtvt yg bersesuaian dpt d sertai oleh u & ur kids....... k, take care all

Salam & Hi!
Pertamanya, saya nak ucapkan jutaan terima kasih kepada tenaga kerja gathering kali ini yang bertungkus lumus memastikan ianya berjalan lancar. Norli, Dewi Anna, Noni Nadiah, dan Julie. Terima kasih yang tidak terhingga kepada penaja hamper dan gift pack, ASTRO, Karang Kraf, dan Nestle. Terima kasih tiada penghujungnya kepada team photographer yang amat-amat berbakat daripada Photo School Forum. Dan terima kasih tida terbalas kepada semua yang menjayakan event kali ini, terutamanya, para peserta, ibu & ayah yg sudi membawa anak-anak dan keluarga ke event ini dan sama-sama turun padang walaupun ada ketikanya cuaca panas sampai berpeluh-peluh, but the show goes on unexpectedly, really great. Walaupun gathering ini pada mulanya khusus utk parents dpd komuniti Fotopages, namun, ramai juga yang bukan dpd komuniti ini, yang hadir memeriahkan xtvt. Terima kasih semua...... jasa baik anda tidak terbalas....
Saya tiba dilokasi jam 7 pagi, membuat beberapa persiapan awal. Banner digantungkan, tikar d bentangkan, dan beristirehat ditemani nyamuk (huhu) sementara menanti ketibaan yang lain. Ananamri dan rakan daripada Photo School (PS) Forum menjadi di antara yang pertama tiba tepat jam 8 pagi. Disertai oleh Dewi Anna (CREW) bersama kotak kek besar, cup cakes dan peralatannya dan Azila daripada komuniti FP. Majlis dimulakan pada jam 8.30 pagi dengan sesi pendaftaran setelah beberapa keluarga telah mula sampai ke lokasi kejadian. Terima kasih kepada Azila kerana sudi jadi bidan terjun menjadi CREW of d day.
Sesi pendaftaran berjalan lancar, setiap keluarga mendapat gift pack tajaan ASTRO dan Karangkraf yang mengandungi majalah-majalah seperti Intrend, Rapi, Nur, Keluarga, Pa&Ma, Rasa dan Impiana, dan kebanyakan family telahpun kenal d antara satu sama lain, ada yg dah setup port masing-masing kat suatu sudut yg di pilih. Yg tak berapa kenal tuh, rasanya dah dpt get along w d others.. Norli tiba dengan rombongannya bersama peralatan yang banyak. Kanopi didirikan, balang air oren free flow d bancuhkan, makanan disusunkan d atas tikar pot luck, dan pengumuman utk majlis dimulakan dibuat. Thanks to Pie (Norli's hubby aka Papa Wana) kerana sudi menjadi MC or d day dan membuatkan ramai yg geli hati dgn bicaranya..
Sarapan pagi pot luck dimulakan pada sekitar jam 9.30 pagi, dan aktiviti pertama dimulakan pada jam 9.45 pagi, iaitu Mewarna Sempena Hari Ibu. Disertai oleh Mendekorasi Cup Cake bersama Chef Dei Anna pada jam 10.20 pagi, dan Story Telling pada jam 10.45 pagi. Kelihatan bukan sahaja kanak-kanak yang bergembira dengan xtvt tersebut, mamanya pon sama! huhu... Kemudian xtvt bebas dan bergambar sementara menunggu keputusan pemenang, xtvt tersebut menjadi lebih meriah dengan kehadiran 2 org petugas DBKL berkuda ke lokasi kejadian. Wah! sungguh excited para photographers, ibu & ayah dan anak-anak melihat kuda-kuda tersebut. Ada kids yang menangis, ada yang terpegun.. Semua tak lepaskan peluang merakamkan detik tersebut.
Pengumuman pemenang dibuat pada jam 11 pagi, Mewarna di menangi oleh Aiman (sila betulkan saya ye Ibu Aiman kalau salah ejaan nama anaknye ye), Dekorasi Cup Cake oleh Ain, dan Penghayatan Story Telling oleh Hani. Tahniah kepada para pemenang! Hadiah hamper ditaja oleh Nestle, dan medal oleh CREW xtvt ini.
Disertai oleh upacara memotong kek BESAR berphoto yang ditaja oleh Chef Dewi Anna dan sesi menyanyikan lagu untuk bday boy, girl, mom & dad yg bday jatuh bulan Mei... Sesi memotong kek jadi gamat kejap, disebabkan masing2 nak memotong bahagian yang ada wajah anak masing2. hehe. Thanks to Zaireen kerana sudi menjadi pemotong kek yeah... Ada gaya tersendiri lah! Kemudian, xtvt terakhir sebelum bersurai, sesi bergambar kumpulan ramai-ramai bersama Pasukan Berkuda DBKL. Meriah jugak! Thanks akak & abang dpd pasukan tersebut kerana sudi melayan kitorg....
Kemudian, sesi mentapau makanan dan mengemas kawasan. Kelihatan ramai yang bergambar buat kali terakhir sebelum berangkat pulang. Ada yang bergambar dengan banner juga. hehe.
Kami, CREW FP Kids Gathering 2008 mengharapkan agar semua menikmati gathering kali ini dan halalkan apa yang terkurang ye.. Kami akan cuba memperbaiki apa yang boleh utk panduan CREW xtvt seterusnya d masa depan, insya-Allah.

Dikesempatan ini juga, saya ingin mengucapkan trillion thanks to my hubby, thanks for your understanding, thanks for everything, this is the best Mom's Day gift for me. Ramai yang tak tahu, saya sebenarnya kena high fever pd Jumaat 16hb tuh, berleretan hingga ke semalam d Titiwangsa. Diikutkan, memang dah tak selesa dah badan nih. Tapi, mind dah set to be strong and I fought it back! Alhamdulillah, tiada kejadian yang tidak diingini dan semua berjalan lancar.... Hari ini hari untuk makan ubat, ikut nasihat doktor dan doktor hatiku.. huhu.

Kids Photography Props Corner
Ada kids kimono, face mask (super man, ultra man.. etc), fairies wing, face & body painting pada harga yang sangat berpatutan. I'm sure, face mask tuh nanti akan sold out dek the Talented Photographers team, huhu. Kali ini, kita akan buat sesi photography yang lain dpd lain with all the suitable props for the outdoor kids photography session with the sharp shooters dpd Photo School. Siapa yang pernah join the Lake Garden gathering last time, tentu teringat lagi bagaimana ramainya team photographers yang saya bawa ke Lake garden kan..... haha.. Photographers sama berkejaran dengan the kids. After this event, I'll compile all the photos and will provide the CD to all the parents yang request for it.
